Daybreak: A Fantastic Find
Funny as all hell. Until you find out that Netflix CANCELED the damn show after only one season. I mean, really? I could probably list so many other shows that aren’t worth the time, but this one? So much fun, it’s ridiculous. But also sad. And scary. And totally realistic.
My take on Daybreak (2019):
Created by Aron Eli Coleite and Brad Peyton and rated TV-MA for MATURE kids only. It’s not for the younger folk, but my 17-year-old and I enjoy Colin Ford, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute with so many others, while they move their way through the post apocalypse. I will not mention Ferris Bueller, aka Matthew Broderick, because he really isn’t the most fantastic here, compared to his co stars. This was a funny, unexpected find and just not believing Netflix cancels something that could have been a super fun series. Big fat bummer, so please, watch it and then complain to Netflix…maybe, just maybe…
Check out Daybreak while you can and Netflix can go suck an egg for this one.
p.s. And don’t get me started on “I’m Not Okay With This” – another one, gone. Thanks Netflix.
